Our mission

Housing is the first step — not the finish line.

Kutana Housing Advocacy Services was established to address one of New Jersey’s most urgent challenges: ensuring people experiencing homelessness have equitable access to safe, stable, and sustainable housing.

We serve people who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. Many face limited affordable housing, economic hardship, mental health challenges, housing discrimination, and complex systems that are difficult to navigate alone. We walk with them through all of it — before, during, and after the lease is signed.

  • Pre-tenancy preparation and housing readiness
  • Tenancy-sustaining services and stabilization
  • Post-tenancy retention and ongoing advocacy
